I met with Coatbridge band Forever Rivals to have a chat about their music and their plans for 2012.

Read on for an interview with the most originally-named band in Coatbridge, Crafty Bison.

Read on for an insight into the minds of the members of Kill Surrrf. Be warned, it’s a bit of a strange place…

www.coatbridge.co.uk is a website for the community and we know how important live music is to the people of Coatbridge. We are doing our part to support local bands, through mentions in articles, publicising gigs through our events section and even interviews with local luminaries of the music scene.

Visitors to the entertainment section of the website will no doubt have heard the name Restless Sinners mentioned before. As we are supporters of local bands here at the website I caught up with Stuart of the band for an in-depth interview.

It’s always good to see a band finally getting the acclaim they deserve, none more so than for Attica Rage.
Katherine Jenkins and other singers of that ilk better start watching their backs, as Nikki Martin is soon going to be stealing their thunder!
Nikki was born in Wishaw; however, moved to Worcester at the tender age of 4. The family decided to move to Worcester as Nikki’s father wanted to start up a hot tub distribution company and Worcester was a central point in the country for distribution. Nikki and her family have not forgotten Wishaw though, and make frequent visits back to the town to see family.
Some bands you discover and you just connect with from the outset. For me, The Whip are one such band. Hailing from Manchester, I first discovered them on MySpace, when their debut CD was just a twinkling in their collective eyes. I used MySpace a lot back in the day and discovered many bands through them; however, The Whip are one of a handful that I still follow to this day. Their music is astounding, completely different to the usual pop/electro/rock bands currently on the scene. From the first time I heard their song Trash they grabbed hold of my ears and have not relinquished them yet.
