The car park, which is located at the rear of the hospital, is part of ongoing works to provide better on-site parking.
Colin Lauder, NHS Lanarkshire head of planning and development, said: “In addition to the new car park, work to repair potholes and pavements will take place over the next few weeks. We will aim to keep any disruption to a minimum.”
NHS Lanarkshire is still looking for views on proposed changes to car parking arrangements at hospitals and health centres.
