Coatbridge boys Rise to Nothing will be launching their new EP at Soundwave Studios on Friday 10th February.
Rise To Nothing are a four-piece deathcore/metalcore/thrash metal band from Coatbridge. The band started just with a guitarist and a drummer jamming then went through a few name changes and band members before settleing on the current line up of Robbie Sprat t(Vocals), Callum Pilling (Bass), Calum Mcfie (Guitarist) and Sean Henderson (Drums, Backing Vocals) in late 2010.
They then decided on the name of Rise To Nothing, and went on from there to create their own feel of music partly influenced by the bands they love and playing gigs here and there.
Rise To Nothing then hit the studio early January 2012 recording their first E.P "S**t Happens" which will be launched at Soundwave. The band will be playing tracks from the EP live.
The band say "We're hard hitting and have a whole future in which we'll be writing new music and making it heavier as we go. So give us a bash!"
